The Hairdressing Training and Education Centre. Because we believe in real working experience as being essential for relevant and meaningful learning ,we work in collaboration with a well established local salon, Rooney’s of Liscard, Wallasey. this partnership working, ensures that all learners have the opportunity to observe and work alongside real hairdressers providing real services for real clients. This is in addition to their own individual and personalised training in the bespoke training salon and IT suite above the salon.

HTEC – Our Qualifications
HTEC is able to offer Hairdressing qualifications from BTEC L2 to NVQ2 and 3 as well as WorkSkills at Levels 1and 2 and Level 2 Management Qualifications from the Chartered Management Institute. The teaching staff, Alan Henry and Lorraine Krimou have many years experience of the Hair and Beauty Industry,and both are well known in the local hairdressing community and are able to use their network of contacts for the benefit of their learners.
The difference with our training is that Learners get the chance to work alongside established, practicing stylists. Training isn’t just about learning to do hair, salon work involves much more, from customer care to stock control and Health and Safety, to name just a few of the skills and knowledge you will learn.
